(ECNS) -- A man has been seen on a bus in northeast China's Shenyang city repeatedly solving a Rubik's Cube with his eyes closed, according to the Shenyang Evening News.
It turns out that he is Li Mingxin, a well-known Rubik's Cube fan in Shenyang, whose nine-year-old son won a speed-cubing championship held by the World Cube Association last year, with a 12.12-second average, breaking the world record for the 9-year-old group.
Li told reporters that solving the Rubik's Cube with your eyes closed requires memorization and mental arithmetic. But he said anyone can do it after enough practice.
He also advised young people to play with Rubik's Cubes instead of mobile phones, as it helps train your brain and increase your spatial intelligence.
