Couple seized for spreading homemade porn online

(ECNS)-- A couple in Kunming, Yunnan province, was caught spreading and selling self-directed and self-starred pornographic videos online, Kunming Metropolitan Times reported on Tuesday.

The woman, surnamed Gu, 23, once worked as a sex model, whose pornographic images can be found on a well-known Asian porn website.

With the nickname "Mei Niang" (charming woman), Gu and her husband, surnamed Li, 28, set up an online pornographic club and attracted paying members.

With 970 members, the club spread 30 pornographic videos and 1,300 pictures starting in February of last year. A total of 800 e-mails with pornographic content were sent to club members.

According to Gu, she and her husband made porn films featuring a variety of scenarios, having sexual intercourse in public places like gardens, staircases, corridors, billiard rooms, and even expressways.

To ensure that there was enough light for the videos, the couple even filmed during the daytime in public places.

Real-time pornographic shows of the couple were also made available online for members at a high price.

Gu and Li sold the videos and pictures at prices ranging from 500 to 2,000 yuan ($80 to $312) to members via e-mail and made over 30,000 yuan in profits between 2013 and 2014, according to the police.

The couple was arrested on Feb 24 in an anti-pornography campaign launched by the security departments in Yunnan.
