(ECNS) -- An anti-narcotics squad seized 2,000 grams of a new kind of drug on Sunday in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, gxnews.com reported on Tuesday.
The drug called "milk tea" comes in powdered form and has a light sweet smell. The instant water-soluble drug can be mixed with any beverage, and doesn't change the original taste of the drink after being dissolved.
The drugs were seized from a car at a highway tollbooth. Two drug dealers involved in the case were detained.
Local police said that consuming the narcotic "milk tea" can cause long-lasting euphoric effects. People, teens in particular, are warned to stay away from it.
