(ECNS) -- Italy will cut down the visa processing time for Chinese tourists to 36 hours, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said at a press conference after meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday afternoon, according to www.gov.cn.
Renzi and Li met the press after talks and issued a three-year cooperation plan. Renzi is on a three-day official visit to China from June 10 to 12.
The official Sina Weibo account of The Department of European Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Italy will be included in European Union which issued visas to Chinese tourists with the shortest time.
Currently it takes averagely five workdays to obtain a tourist group visa to access Italy.
