(ECNS) -- The world's oldest living person, a 128-year-old woman in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, has opened an online shop to sell Hami melons that she grows herself, www.ce.cn reported.

Ali Mihan, born on June 25, 1886, whose life has spanned three centuries, remains in good health. Her family said growing Hami melons is part of her life, and she still insists on working in the field.

Her melon farm of 20 mu (1.3 hectares) produces approximately 16,000 melons every year, which had been sold in neighboring areas.

Hoping more people will taste her melons, the woman opened an online shop on B2C e-commerce platform JD.com's C2C site Paipai.com on Wednesday, with support from several organizations and the local government.

Customers can order online in the first week, and the melons will be picked and transported to four logistics bases in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu by air. Melons can reach buyers in the following two or three days.
