Shijiazhuang (CNS) –The Age of Big Data has pushed the world's military revolution to a new phase, and the Chinese army has been putting more emphasis on military information system innovation.
Shijiazhuang Army Command College has shined at military drills held recently for information systems developed by its military operation center.
Established in the early 1980s, the research center has been undertaking missions to analyze tactical requirements, and develop information systems and professional talent. It opened the door for the Chinese army to use information-based command in training in 1983, with two aided systems. And in the next 30 years, it continued to make many breakthroughs in China's military innovations.
The center developed China's first new battle command information system with the Shenyang Military Region, one of the seven regions of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, in 2012.
In addition, it has made many innovations in core military technology, aiming to help the Chinese army win potential wars. The Army Staff Operating System has become automatic. The Joint Training Information System broke down obstacles against command efficiency and helped raise the joint training level. And the War Experimental System established a preliminary practice platform for the army to test battle plans.
