(ECNS) – The Chinese Consulate-General in Sydney has refuted the online rumor that Australia has opened three-month visa-free access for Chinese visitors, according to people.com.cn.
The consulate said China and Australia hadn't reached an agreement on a visa exemption yet, and that Chinese still need to apply for a visa before going to Australia.
Chinese passport-holders can now visit 45 foreign countries and regions without visas.
