Man kills 3 after school refuses daughter's registration

(ECNS) -- A man has stabbed three students to death and jnjured seven others Monday morning in a primary school in central China's Hubei province, the local public security department said.

The knife-wielding man, named Chen Yanfu, has been nursing a grudge against the school, as his daughter hasn't been permitted for registration due to unfinished homework, the department said.

Chen broke into the Dongfang Primary School in Yunxi County with the excuse of registration for his daughter at around 10:40 am Monday and stabbed ten people, including a teacher and nine pupils, three of whom has died.

Chen committed suicide by jumping off a building.
