(ECNS) -- Gifts that China sent to APEC economic leaders and their partners have been available on the market since Friday, Beijing News reported.
Beijing Gongmei Group, who produced the gifts, introduced 8,000 cloisonné vases, handbag sets and fruit trays decorated with scarves to the market. The first was a gift sent by President Xi Jinping, while the latter two were sent by First Lady Peng Liyuan to the spouses of visiting APEC leaders.
The gifts sell at between 39,800 yuan ($6,477) and 99,800 yuan ($16,242).
APEC hosts traditionally send gifts or souvenirs featuring local culture to other economic leaders and their spouses during proceedings.
