(ECNS) -- China's foreign ministry has responded to US President Barack Obama's remarks on Beijing's pollution at a daily press briefing on Thursday.
When asked about comments on President Obama'a remarks in his address that pollution makes it unsuitable to raise children in Beijing, the ministry's spokeswoman Hua Chunying said Chinese government has been strongly resolved to bring pollution under control and has taken effective measures.
"It is also our hope that the 'APEC Blue' can stay with us so that all children in China are able to grow up happily under the blue sky on a green land," Hua added.
