(ECNS) -- China plans to introduce its strictest anti-smoking measures, according to a draft amendment of the Advertisement Law.
The amendment will ban all kinds of tobacco advertising on a broad range of traditional and digital media, including electronic publications and the Internet, Xinhua News Agency said.
As the world's largest tobacco maker and consumer, China has more than 300 million smokers, with another 740 million people exposed to second-hand smoke each year.
