(ECNS) - Beijing plans to set the ticket prices for the 2022 Winter Olympics at 50 to 4882 yuan($8 to $787) if it wins the bid, according the candidature file submitted to the International Olympic Committee on Monday.
The most expensive ticket is planned for opening and closing ceremonies.
For the Paralympic Winter Games, the ticket price ranges from 50 to 732 yuan ($8 - $118).
The ticket revenue is expected at around 732 million yuan ($118 million).
The opening and closing ceremonies of both games will be held at Bird's Nest, the National Stadium and also the main venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Beijing plans to host the 2022 Olympic Winter Games during China's Spring Festival, the Lunar New year.
The Olympic Winter Games will be held from Feb 4 to Feb 20, while Feb 2 is the first day of Lunar New Year, the most important traditional festival in China.
The festival is expected to bring more audience to the games, said Beijing's Candidature Files for 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
The Paralympic Winter Games will be held from Mar 4 to Mar 13.
Beijing Olympic Games Bidding Committee also said that the ticket price is relatively lower in comparison with previous Winter Olympic Winter Games.
