Today Art Museum holds fashion and art award ceremony

(ECNS) – Twelve awards were handed out to artists who made contributions to combining fashion and art at Today Art Museum on Saturday evening.

The International Fashion and Art Award Ceremony was hosted by Today Art Museum and sponsored by Life Element magazine and Casarte.

One of the awards, the Breakthrough of the year Award, went to Zhu zheqin, who had made her solo exhibition "Sense of Hearing" at the museum. The sound art exhibition tried a novel way connect audience with sound.

The museum's director Gao Peng made a short speech at the ceremony and encouraged artists to cross the boundary of art to produce more novel works.

Today Art Museum would continue to lead renovation in art, the director added.

The museum also revealed on the afternoon at a press conference that it will introduce "future museum" concept and the project is expected to launch in September.

"It's a space conception rather than real museum," said Chen Xin, the project director.
