(ECNS) -- Can you answer the call of nature in a transparent public toilet? Some say yes and appreantly appreciates the beautiful view, Nanguo Morning Post reported on Wednesday.
At the Ludi Scenic Spot in Guilin, a leading tourist destination located in Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, one can find a stylish public toilet made of liquid crystal glass set into the stunning landscape.
The west and north sides of the first floor male lavatory are made of transparent glass, providing great views of the beautiful scenery. To increase privacy, marble baffle boards have been placed in front of the urinals so people outside the toilet would not take a peep inside.
"This lavatory was built according to five-star standards," Deng Biqiong, assistant general manager of the Ludi Scenic Spot, explained.
Without transparent glass walls, the female restroom is equipped with a mother and infant room as well as a viewing platform from which users could enjoy the landscape.
Feedback has been positive, though complaint books are available to collect customer opinions on improvement, according to the newspaper.
