Heilongjiang international skiing festival opens

In Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, the 15th International Skiing Festival has opened in the capital, Harbin. This winter, more than 100 ice and snow tourism activities will be held.

It's going to be a 4-month celebration with 4 themes: Early Winter Warming-up Skiing Month, Midwinter Fever Skiing Month, Spring Festival Golden Skiing Month and Spring Vivid Skiing Month.

Heilongjiang is rich in snow tourism and skiing tourism resorts. Visitors can take part in skiing competitions, and many cultural activities. Some of them offer free admission. Embracing the opportunity of the Sino-Russian Tourism Year, visitors will also be treated to performances by Russian artists.

The 15th China Heilongjiang International Skiing Festival is sponsored by the National Tourism Administration and Heilongjiang Provincial People's Government and organized by the Heilongjiang Tourism Bureau. It will run until April.
