Due to the huge Chinese diaspora, comprising millions of people scattered across every continent, Chinese new year is also celebrated in many countries. The magic of China will come to London's West End, as the city gears up to hold the largest Chinese New Year celebration outside of Asia.

The event on February the 10th will begin with a parade of colorful floats and beating drums. It will also feature a gravity defying lion dance and a variety of performances. The performers include acclaimed singers from Hong Kong and shows staged by performers from Guangdong and Sichuan provinces. The event is free to attend and family friendly, and will conclude with stunning fireworks, at about 6pm that day.
