A temple fair with Chinese characteristics has been held in South Africa's Johannesburg, attracting many tourists.
Activities including dragon and lion dances, acrobatics, Chinese martial arts and other cultural performances were held, as well as crafts such as artistic paper cutting and calligraphy. In addition, costumes and Chinese food were on sale.
The Chinese Embassy in South Africa also organized an information desk to introduce visitors to traditional Chinese culture and travel. The fair attracted nearly ten thousand people including the locals, overseas Chinese and foreign tourists.
