Beach volleyball is very popular at Bund Beach.
Jinshan City Beach
Located in Jinshan district in Shanghai's southwest suburb, Jinshan City Beach is a sandy stretch of ocean water perfect for a weekend getaway.
The rare combination of city and country views contributes to the dynamic but relaxing atmosphere, and is both romantic and lively in equal doses. The glistening fine white sand is imported from the tropical paradise of Hainan Island.
There are often children playing in the water and on the sand, and you may spot them catching crabs on the western end of the beach. The more serene eastern end is a perfect place to dip your toes in the water and calm your mood.
Address: 5 Xincheng Road, Jinshan district
8:30 am to 8 pm, Sunday to Thursday. 9 am to 9 pm, Friday and Saturday

Note: Jinshanzui Seafood City is a string of seafood restaurants along the boardwalk, and there is plenty to tempt your taste buds.
