Swan Lake by Russian State Ballet in Shanghai

The Russian State Ballet is directed by the Russian Ministry of Culture and has visited more than 80 countries and regions. The troupe has toured Germany, the US, Italy, England and Japan. Swan Lake is generally presented in either four acts or four scenes. Some productions in the West include a prologue that shows the actual transformation by which Princess Odette is turned into a swan. The biggest difference in productions around the world is that the ending varies from romantic to tragic.
