瓷男

Pronounced cí nán, this literally means "porcelain males," and refers to men who are so fragile that they cannot bear the pressures of life. They dress in modern urban fashions, approach problems with timidity, and live sheltered lives. Many women feel that these men lack the masculine qualities traditionally associated with males.*

Let's put it into context:

Phil: I just ran into Rebecca. She seemed depressed.

Allen: Oh, I overheard her boyfriend quit his job again, and it's the third time this year.

Phil: No wonder Rebecca looks worried. I guess she'll break up with him.

Allen: That's what I guess. Her boyfriend is a typical cí nán. He's obviously unreliable.

Phil: Well, Rebecca has gone through a lot of hardships with him. I hope it won't be that hard for her.
