PLA planned military training for 2012

At the beginning of the year 2012, the General Staff Headquarters (GSH) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) issued the military training instructions for the year 2012 to the whole army and made five-aspect arrangements for the military training work in 2012.

The five-aspect arrangements are: all-roundly promoting training reform, making efforts in joint training, strengthening training of troop units of multiple services and arms, improving teaching quality of military academies, and continuing to push forward the upsurge in military training.

The GSH urged that the PLA and the People's Armed Police Force (APF) must take the improvement of systematic operation capability based on information systems as the starting point and final goal, all-roundly promote information-based training, vigorously cultivate new-type high-quality military talents, actively create information-based training modes, accelerate the building of information-based training systems, and further promote the transformation of military training from the new starting point.
