MND peacekeeping backbone training class concluded

The training class for the backbones of the 13th Chinese peacekeeping detachment to Liberia and the 14th Chinese peacekeeping detachment to Congo (K) was successfully concluded at the peacekeeping center of the Ministry of National Defense (MND) on February 13 in Beijing.

This training class was organized by the Peacekeeping Affairs Office of the MND. 90 peacekeeping backbones of the Beijing Military Area Command (MAC) and the Lanzhou MAC of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) who will go to Liberia and Congo (K) soon for international peacekeeping missions attended the class.

In order to help the peacekeepers get to know the new situations of their mission areas and enhance their capabilities to carry out peacekeeping tasks, the training class focused on 21 subjects, including peacekeeping operation overview, International Law, belligerent regulations, emergency handling and behavior requirements.
