NDU constructs cultural highland

The staff members of the Tribulation to Glory, a 12-part full-length documentary film jointly organized by the National Defense University (NDU) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) and other units, are currently re-taking the road of the Long March for on-site interview and photography. This documentary film is adapted from Professor Jin Yi'nan's book of the same name.

According to leaders of the NDU, celebrated masters have been invited to the activities entitled "Lectures on Advanced Culture" of the NDU in recent years to give special lectures on cutting-edge issues and hot issues of various disciplines including history, literature and art in order to make every one present appreciate the charm of culture.

It is learned that the NDU has recently started a program entitled "Cultural Construction Project"， in a bid to carry forward socialist core value system with teaching advantages, push forward prosperous development of advanced military culture and theory with scientific research advantages, establish training base for high-level leadership and decision-making talents in constructing advanced military culture with personnel training advantages, and show PLA advanced military culture to the outside world with advantages in foreign military exchanges.
