China: constructive force for world peace

At the World Peace Forum, some experts stated the position of the Chinese side on China's sovereignty over the South China Sea, nuclear policy and national defense policy, and numerous foreign representatives spoke positively of the constructive role that China has played in maintaining world peace.

Alan García, former Peruvian president, held that China has long been pursuing a friendly, mutually beneficial and win-win policy with various countries and is an important force in maintaining world peace. Shaukat Aziz, former Pakistani prime minister, held that China's development is not only for peaceful purpose, but also reflects China's consistency in her words and deeds. He expressed that China's prosperity is of great importance for the whole world.

Yin Yin Myint, director of the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS), pointed out that China has made great achievements in such fields as economy and is an important force in maintaining world peace and development. "A number of countries have benefited a lot from China's development and can also continue to share China's development achievements," said she.
