The advanced training course on quality enhancement for teaching and administration officers in colleges and academies of the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) began on October 29, 2012 in the Tsinghua University, marking the start of the rotational training for the officers in colleges and academies of the PLA Air Force relying on the Tsinghua University.
A total of 50 teaching and administration officers attending the one-month-long training course are mainly cadets from various departments/institutes and teaching and research offices of the Aviation University of the Air Force (AUAF) of the PLA, leaders responsible for education in the PLA Air Force training departments and leaders from other colleges and academies of the PLA Air Force, said Fu Aiguo, director of the Personnel division of the Political Department of the PLA Air Force.
According to the agreement between the PLA Air Force and the Tsinghua University, it is scheduled to take three years to carry out the rotational training for all faculty of the AUAF with the goal of broadening the educational idea and improving the teaching and administration capability of colleges and academies of the PLA Air Force by relying on the high-quality teaching resources of the Tsinghua University.
