Maritime defense is next phase of China-Russia drill

China and Russia's joint naval exercise is entering the third day. The two sides are preparing for the next phase, following the release of the operation plan.

The theme of the operation is "joint maritime defense". It involves integrated air-defense, joint convoy, replenishment, and anti-submarine exercises. This is the biggest joint-drill between the two countries to date. China and Russia are working to routinize high-level military exchanges.
