The People's Liberation Army has established an organ responsible for sending disciplinary inspectors to check personnel with the military and the Armed Police Force, Beijing Youth Daily reported on Wednesday.
Senior leaders from the Central Military Commission held a meeting in Beijing from Monday to Wednesday to mark the organization's founding and discuss training for inspectors.
General Xu Qiliang, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission, addressed the meeting, saying the inspection will focus on senior officers.
In October, the Central Military Commission issued a regulation on disciplinary inspection and a road map for the work.
