CMC vice chairman meets Danish defense minister

Vice Chairman of China's Central Military Commission (CMC) Xu Qiliang on Monday met with visiting Danish Defense Minister Nicolai Wammen to discuss bilateral ties.

Hailing China-Denmark defense cooperation in recent years, Xu called on the two sides to further high-level communications, enhance technical exchanges and promote personnel training cooperation.

China is willing to make joint efforts with Denmark to strengthen friendly cooperation in various aspects, Xu said.

Stressing that Denmark attaches importance to friendship with China, Wammen called on the two sides to deepen cooperation in international peacekeeping and other fields.
