Family of wrongfully-executed man wants justice

Following the overturning of several wrongful criminal cases that made headlines, China is extending the judicial reform to the forefront. 

Hugjilt was found guilty of raping and murdering a woman in a public toilet in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, on April 9, 1996, and convicted of the crimes on May 23. Just 18 days later, he was executed.

Another man named Zhao Zhihong, an alleged serial rapist and murderer, confessed to the crimes in 2005.
