Chinese painter Diao Qingchun's solo exhibition, The Trace of Years, will be held from December 16 to 25 in 2013 at Today Art Museum in Beijing.
In Diao Qingchun's Painting, the trace of years, hidden in the complex creating structure, precipitated in the past bright flowers, vast landscape and calm murals, has been still pieces to recall the late person, which was washed by the river of history, but from the brushstroke, the artist also portrayed the silent years on the canvas.
As an oil painter, on pursuing Chinese traditional spirit, Diao's painting does not simply collage or transform images. In the difficultly recognized composition at the first glimpse, the artist also transplanted his macro self-perception for the nature power and sigh for the trivial "instant thing" into a kind of thoughtful abstract esthetics. As the Fission Series paintings present: superlatively artificial marvelous sight eventually cannot match the time carving of Nature's running. They slowly subsided into an initial irregular mountain chain in the fleeting years, but paintings finally lifted the time's veil, and represented the deep trace clearly at the moment, before you.
