An amphibious assault vehicle is getting into the amphibious landing ship. An amphibious armored detachment under the Nanjing Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) cooperated with the Navy of the PLA (PLAN) to conduct the full-floating loading and beach landing drill in a sea area of the East China Sea on August 3, 2014, in a bid to temper the troops' real-combat capability.
