Wei and Jin dynasties (220-420 AD)
Clothing in the Wei and Jin dynasties was mainly large and loose, but differed greatly from that in the Qin and Han dynasties. Women no longer wore one-piece garments but opted for top and bottom pieces. The outer garment was gathered at the waist with a wide belt, revealing more skin around the neck. The sleeves and the hemline were still wide, but the silhouettes were more accentuating to women's curves than in the Han and Qin dynasties.
