A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Wednesday met with a delegation of the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan, vowing to advance bilateral good-neighborly cooperation.
Wang Lequan, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and deputy secretary of the Committee of Political and Legislative Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks while meeting with the Kyrgyz delegation.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of bilateral ties being established between the two countries, and Wang said remarkable progress has been made in the two decades on the basis of mutual respect and benefit.
He said the CPC is willing to work with the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan to consolidate their cooperation and enhance communication on state governing and administration experiences, so as to further develop the relationship.
Chynybai Tursunbekov, a parliamentary group leader who led the delegation, said the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan is willing to learn from the success of the CPC and push forward bilateral cooperation through party-to-party exchanges.
