U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will visit China on Sept. 4 and 5, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said on Tuesday.
Clinton will make the visit at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, Hong said, adding that the two sides will exchange views on the China-U.S. relations and other issues of common concern.
Some Chinese leaders will meet with Clinton during her stay in Beijing, Hong said.
