China calls for peace and stability on Korean Peninsula tension

Amid rising tension on the Korean Peninsula, China has called for all parties involved to keep restraint and maintain the peace and stability of the area.

Hong Lei, spokesman of China's Foreign Ministry, said, "Maintaining peace and stability of the Peninsula serves the common interests of all parties. China hopes all parties involved to keep restraint, and should make constructive efforts to ease the tension on the Korean peninsula."
