Singapore Deputy PM to visit Hong Kong

Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean will make a three-day official visit to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), China, from Tuesday to Thursday, local broadcaster Channel NewsAsia reported on Sunday.

Teo, who is also minister in charge of the Civil Service, will meet HKSAR Chief Executive Leung Chun-Ying, as well as Chief Secretary for Administration Carrie Lam, Secretary for Civil Service Paul Tang and Secretary for Development Paul Chan.

They will discuss issues of mutual interests and explore ways to enhance cooperation between agencies from Singapore and Hong Kong.

Teo will be accompanied by senior officials from the Public Service Division and the National Population and Talent Division.
