China's sustainable and stable economic growth offers great opportunities to the world, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Sunday.
Li made the remarks during a meeting with Julian Dominguez, president of the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the Argentine parliament, in the Great Hall of the People in downtown Beijing on Sunday afternoon.
During the briefing on China's present economic development, Li said the country's economic and social development had a good start at the beginning of the year while facing difficulties and risks.
Li said "an updated version of China's economy" will be built, noting that the government will continue to develop the economy, maintain steady growth, curb inflation, control risks and push economic transformation toward higher quality and efficiency in growth.
China has set a goal of building itself into a prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced and harmonious modern socialist country by the middle of the century and realizing the Chinese Dream of great national revival, Li said. He added that the country will make unremitting efforts toward this goal and therefore China's development will also provide vast opportunities to the world.
As China and Argentina are both emerging market countries and developing countries, Li said the two countries need to develop bilateral relations with a comprehensive and strategic view, promote investment and trade and achieve common development.
China will be happy to see a united and strong relationship among Latin-American countries and is willing to further coordinate with Argentina to upgrade relations among China and Latin-American countries, he added.
Dominguez said China's development brings great opportunity for Argentina and China is an important partner of cooperation for his country.
He voiced hope to further strengthen the two sides' cooperation in all fields and advance the bilateral relations to a new stage.
