China insists on dialogue and consultation to achieve the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, maintain peace and stability in the region and resolve disputes. The message comes from Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui.

Zhang Yesui and South Korean First Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kyou-hyun have held the 6th High-Level Strategic Dialogue in Beijing ahead of President Park Geun-hye's state visit to China later this month.

Zhang says the leaders of both countries attach great importance to developing friendly cooperation. He says the Chinese side is committed to ensuring the success of Park's visit and promoting ties.
