Canadian governor-general to visit China

Governor-General of Canada David Johnston will pay a state visit to China this month, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying announced in Beijing on Monday.

Johnston will visit the country from Oct. 18 to 24 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Hua said.
