China, EU to hold high-level strategic dialogue

China and the European Unionwill hold their fourth high-level strategic dialogue in Beijing on Nov. 20, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang in Beijing on Monday.

Qin told a regular press briefing that the dialogue will be co-chaired by Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi and Catherine Ashton, EU high representative for foreign affairs and security policy and vice president of the European Commission.

The two sides will have an in-depth exchange of views on current international situations, China-EU relations and regional issues of common concern, Qin said.
