Villagers of Dong ethnic group put a red flower on the head of a sacrificial bull prepared for a blessing ceremony of Naoyu festival. During the festival celebrated every June 2 in the Chinese lunar calendar by Miao, Yao and Dong ethnic groups, people catch fish, and offer their prayers for good fortune, a bountiful harvest and peace, by stringing a bull up in a tree until it is strangled to death.
