Rare "blue tears" appear at the beach of Tannan Bay in Pingtan of Fujian province on August 13, 2013. The "tears" are caused by ostracodes. When ruffled by waves, these glowworms emit light-blue fluorescence. [Photo/Nian Wangshu]
