Legendary American film director Oliver Stone said that Japan needs to more completely apologize for its wartime acts in China.
He made the comments on Monday in Tokyo during the promotion activity of his documentary series, which deals with the atomic attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Japan "can be a great country again.. start by apologizing to China for what you did there and all the people you killed … and then China would suddenly look at Japan differently.", he said.
Oliver Stone is the director of such classic films as "Platoon," "Wall Street," "JFK" and "Natural Born Killers".
