Gan Opera staged in Leping, Jiangxi (1/6)

Gan Opera artists perform on stage at Huyan Village in Leping City of east China's Jiangxi province on August 26, 2013. There are still 412 ancient opera stages preserved in the city and the one in Huyan Village was named into the national key cultural heritage list this April. Gan Opera, a regional Chinese opera genre with more than 500 years of history, is characterized with simple and catchy tune and lyrics, drum rhythm as well as none-orchestral accompaniment. [Photo/Liu Zhankun]
