Shapowei, last sheltered dock in Xiamen (1/7)

Photo taken on September 12, 2013 shows the Shapowei sheltered dock in Xiamen of Fujian province. As the only sheltered dock in Xiamen downtown, Shapowei's history is earlier than the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). During its most prosperous period, the dock saw over 20,000 persons and nearly 4,000 fishing boats. [Photo/Zhang Bin]
