Meilin Opera artists give performance at Taining county in Fujian province on September 23, 2013. Meilin Opera, one of the local operas in Fujian, originated from Hui Opera in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and developed its own style by absorbing the local dialect, folk ditties, and Taoist music.
