Two houses in C China hit by rocket debris (3/3)

Yang Weihan, from Watang village, Shaoyang city, Central China's Hunan province, shows fallen rocket debris that damaged his house in the early morning of Dec 2. At 1:30 am, the Long March-3B carrier rocket carrying Chang’e-3 lunar probe blast off from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Southwest China’s Sichuan province. About eight minutes later, the cast-off first-stage rocket hit the house, caving the roof in and rupturing four pillars. Yang was compensated 10,800 yuan ($1,772) for the damage. [Photo/icpress.cn]
