The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) was held from April 8 to 11 in Boao, a coastal city in China’s Hainan Province, with a theme of “Asia’s New Future: Identifying New Growth Drivers”. BFA was started in 2001 as a platform for high-level discussion on global and regional issues.
This year’s forum attracted a wide array of regional leaders including Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, ROK Prime Minister Jung Hong-won, to name a few. Also there, were about 150 executives from big companies like Apple, Toyota, Qualcomm and Volvo.
Missed news on the forum? Don’t worry. We’ve prepared a cheat sheet of hot topics that leaders from government, business and academia have been discussing.
