Chinese, Russian navies conduct defense exercise in E China Sea (1/8)

Chinese and Russian navies conduct an anchorage defense exercise in the East China Sea on Thursday, May 22, 2014. It is part of the ongoing naval drill "Joint Sea-2014". The navies will also train their capabilities in maritime assaults, anti-submarine combats, air defense as well as identification, rescue and escort missions in the following days.
