Chinese folk art to be shown in National Mall in US (1/5)

An artist shows Banyao kite (ban means board and yao means snipe), a kind of traditional whistle kite in China's Jiangsu province that features elegant shape, exquisite craftsmanship and unique acoustic effect, at a presentation meeting in Beijing on June 11, 2014. The event is held for the upcoming Smithsonian Folklife Festival which is to be held in the National Mall in Washington, US.
